Placentia Bay Industrial Showcase to Bring Regional Industry Together Under Theme “Navigating Change”

PLACENTIA, NL — September 10, 2026 — Businesses, industry professionals, exhibitors, and opportunity seekers from across the Placentia Bay region will come together in Placentia on September 16–17 for the Placentia Bay Industrial Showcase.

Hosted by the Placentia Chamber of Commerce, the two-day event will focus on the theme “Navigating Change”. It will provide a forum for participants to connect, exchange information, explore business opportunities, and build relationships within the region’s industrial sector.

“The Placentia Bay region continues to be an important centre for industry, business, and economic opportunity,” said Pamela Constantine, President of the Placentia Chamber of Commerce. “The Industrial Showcase brings people together to share information, make valuable connections, and explore the opportunities that will help shape the future of our region.”

The showcase will give attendees opportunities to network with industry professionals and exhibitors, learn about developments and opportunities in the region, and explore potential business collaborations.

Claudette Pittman, Conference Chair, said the event is an important opportunity to connect people and businesses with the information and relationships they need to navigate an evolving industrial environment.

“Our theme, ‘Navigating Change,’ speaks directly to the environment in which businesses and industry are operating today,” said Pittman. “This showcase allows participants to learn, connect, and discover new possibilities while highlighting the tremendous potential within the Placentia Bay region.”

The Placentia Chamber of Commerce encourages businesses, industry representatives, community members, and others interested in the region’s economic future to attend and take advantage of the networking and information-sharing opportunities offered throughout the two-day showcase.
